I - Yêu cầu, mô tả công việc:

1. Overall Job Purpose

- Management Services (MMS) are seeking a suitably qualified Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to provide ongoing operations and technical support to MODEC projects and FPSO facilities. The role is based in MODEC’s Perth Office, Western Australia, however, travel to remote offshore facilities and international office locations may frequently be required.

2. Core Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for E&I offshore activities ensuring best practices and engineering standards are adhered to.

- Provide maintenance, engineering and engineering change support for utility and production systems.

- Investigate breakdown, downtime, reliability related issues/incidents and report on findings.

- Monitor, maintain and be responsible for the health of electrical, instrument and control equipment.

- Responsible for electrical, instrument and control technical support for FPSO assets, including ensuring compliance with established standards and liaising with vendors, contractors, and other technical services.

- Optimise, interrogate, modify, and report on PLC, DCS and SIS within an ICSS environment

- Develop, review and update detailed work instructions and procedures for Electrical, Instrumentation and Control systems.

- Provide E&I support to ongoing bids, FEED and Execute projects as required.

4. Qualifications & Experience

- A tertiary qualification (Bachelor degree or higher) in Electrical engineering, Mechatronic engineering, or other technical related discipline.

- Several years’ experience in Electrical, Instrumentation and Control systems used within the hydrocarbon environment

- Demonstrated operations experience within the offshore Oil & Gas industry

- Exposure and working knowledge of functional safety in relation to AS/IEC 61511 will be highly regarded

- Exposure and working knowledge of electrical equipment in hazardous areas offshore, and EEHA competencies to AS4761 will be highly regarded.

- Experience in preparing concept designs and specifications for engineering projects.

- Involvement working with large or multiple projects.

- Knowledge of software development using various programming language and techniques.

- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

- Eligible to qualify for TUV Functional Safety Engineer

5. Working Conditions

- Travel to remote offshore facilities and international office locations may frequently be required

- Ability to work offshore in remote locations

- Be currently residing in Western Australia
